I finished an article moments ago with a very uneasy feeling. One sentence was like a kick in the teeth to all mothers. Give up writing because you chose to give birth. When I think of merging the day care and elder care I think that would be the ultimate hand and glove for two reasons.

One reason is I have worked in the field of corrections for 18 years and have seen over the years our system fill rapidly with younger and younger people who are mainly boys and young men. For the longest time people have gotten it all wrong when it comes to who needs the most attention; little girls or little boys. Traditionally little girls have received the most and little boys are just left to themselves and families say “oh he’s just being a boy”.
